1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what data NEBULA collects, why it collects it, and how it is stored and used. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

2. Data We Collect

NEBULA collects only the minimum data required to operate its features:

  • User IDs to track game scores, economy points, quest progress, and verification status.
  • Server (Guild) IDs to store server-specific configuration and settings.
  • Channel and Role IDs to enable auto-role, panel, and notification features.
  • Activity Data aggregated activity counts for quests; no message content is stored.
  • Voice Session Timestamps duration of voice sessions for activity tracking (no audio is recorded).

3. What We Do Not Collect

NEBULA does never read, store, or process the content of private messages. We do not collect email addresses, IP addresses, passwords, payment information, or any personally identifiable information beyond Discord's own public-facing user and guild IDs.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain NEBULA's features including games, roles, verification, and stats.
  • To persist user preferences, server settings, and game states across sessions.
  • To track activity for the quest and economy systems.
  • To improve bot performance and fix issues.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored locally in an SQLite database on a secured server. We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of stored data.

6. Data Retention

Data linked to a specific server is deleted within a reasonable period after NEBULA is removed from that server. User data such as economy points is retained for as long as the associated account interacts with NEBULA across any server. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Third-Party Services

NEBULA operates exclusively within Discord's platform. By using Discord, you are also subject to Discord's Privacy Policy. We do not integrate with third-party analytics or advertising services.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of data NEBULA holds about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at nebulaaa.support@gmail.com or through our support server. We will process requests within a reasonable timeframe.

  • Request a copy of data associated with your User ID.
  • Request deletion of your personal data including economy, game stats, and quest progress.
  • Server owners may request deletion of all server-related data upon bot removal.

9. Children's Privacy

NEBULA is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from users below this age. If you believe a minor's data has been collected, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be announced in the NEBULA support server. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
